Back to Top! Suggestions on how to use the Thieves oil: I use 2 drops of Thieves on the tounge for sorethroats works great. Do this for at leats 4-5 days! 2x's a day! I also use 8-10 drops of Thieves into a opaque water bottle and fill it with cold water first and then add the oil. Shake it and spritz your whole house. We just want to share with you all why we started this business in hoping to help people be "well" and live a more healthy life. Not just for the money but to be of service to others and offer help when someone asks for it. Since we started to use these wonderful oils, over 4+ years ago, we have had many different experiences with them I will change this article's content to share with you what and how I used the oils and for long. Please never just use the oils for self diagnosing a particular ailment go to your doctor and get a medical opinion first. We know that these oils along with medication will work better. These oils do what they are meant to do and work in the manner you find written on this website. We use the Essential Oil Desk Refernece Book to refer to when we have an ailment or issue. All information given here is actual testimony as it happened to me and my family and friends and clients. When Ed had irregular heartbeat, rapid heartbeat, etc. I used Joy Oil over the heart area, when I started menopause I used our Progesterone cream and I take Femigen capsules for hot flashes. And I use EndoFlex on the insides of my lower ankles for hormonal balance, and no more hot flashes. Just like that. I hurt my arm helping Ed one day, and I developed a huge bruise well... I added 2 drops of lavender to it and it is going away now. Lavender oils is so wonderful for stimulating the blood and circulation. I also use lavender at night before I go to bed. I alternate three oils... Lavender, Melrose, and the Oil Control Beauty Serum from Young Living and for kicks I use 2 drops od Frankincense every 2 weeks. That combination had brought my skin such a healthy feel and look. Wrinkles well let's just say... those too are diminishing. It was holding my first kit in my hands, (also first experience with oils), that were shown to me by my "soon-to-be" upline. Without even opening the bottles they spoke to me, vibrationally. It was the 7th Heaven Kit. I was awed and felt as though I was holding a box of jewels. I just sat there, on the floor, oooing and ahhing. I even had tears in my eyes. They looked so beautiful. I knew I had to have them for myself, again, without even opening them. It was my first order and I did the same thing when they arrived, sat on the floor, oooing and ahhing, before even opening. I treasured them as though they were a box of jewels. I made them last me for a year. That was about 6 or 7 years ago. I feel that more than anything, these oils and others have helped me more emotionally than physically, although the physical aspect has been affected greatly, too.

I was into aromatherapy in the 60's and didn't get the results that I expected and gave up on it.. in 1999 my wife received her first Reiki Attunement.. Her Master/Teacher had everyone in the class purchase a 5ml bottle of Valor to balance with.. she brought it home, I felt the energy in the oil, and my bodies reaction to the oil was all I needed.. I told my wife there and then and we had to have these oils.. been using them since..our children haven't been to MD's and won't except for major trauma.. My 83-year-old Mom with memory disorder lives with us and for the first 6 months it was not a pretty picture. She didn't sleep at night, was not pleasant during the day, was on numerous medications, and pharmaceuticals weren't working to help her be more peaceful. A caregiving helper brought an E7 kit one day and said, "Maybe there's something in here that will help your Mom." She also loaned me a Higley Guide (Reference Guide for Essential Oils) and I literally couldn't lay it down for the next week. I immediately put a few drops of Peace and Calming into a cool mist vaporizer and recharged it several times a day. After 2 weeks, Thank God!!!, Mom started sleeping all night. Well, that really got my attention. Since then, we've been able to discontinue the narcotic pain patch she'd been wearing (very costly!!) for her chronic back pain by doing Raindrops on her every week for 6 weeks, discontinue several prescription medications and she's in better health than she's been in 30 years. In the past 2 years, we've experienced many "healings" without the "help" of a doctor or prescriptions and we are most grateful to Gary Young for sharing his knowledge of essential oils. My daughter the vet tech was exposed to the oils. So when I would see
her, she would put an oil under my nose. She would giggle and say.."Hey Mom,
Smell this". I would respond with, "oh Yuk", what is that for. Being highly sensitive to smelly things, I didn't want them around. Another lady at the clinic saturated herself with them. Not a pleasant thing. One lady brought someone in to train and teach on the oils. Ok ..so what is $15 to know what my kid was getting into. We had a vitaflex treatment taught to us. Then they put the doc on the table. Showed us her spine and how crooked it was. They proceeded to work on the oils and not on pressure. We watched that spine straighten up. It was a thing of beauty. And no heavy pushing on her. I returned the next day to see what they could teach me and we both took the class on Raindrop. We use it when we need it and love it. We had to know more!!! We went to a level 1, Learned how to conquer bronchitis and more and we love the oils. They do so much!

This is a really great question. I initially received a "missing link" cassette, and after listening to it thought that if even 1/4 of what Gary said was true, it would have worth for me and my family. So, I went to a free training class, signed up and started buying at least $50 of oils every month just so I would get another training tape. Never heard from my upline again, but it didn't matter, because I was so excited every time I received my shipment, I wouldn't have stopped anyway. At the time I had been taking Celebrex for three years, and still could not sleep more than an hour at a time because my hips hurt so much (I have chronic dislocation which had caused Arthritis), and I had Irritable Bowel Syndrome. I bought a few of the YL supplements, and experimented with those and with the oils I was buying. One day I woke up and realized I had slept through the night. That was something I had not done in about 6 years. Then, my symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome went away. I threw away my Celebrex, and the medication I took for the Irritable Bowel Syndrome (can't even remember what it was now), and never looked back. That was back in 1998. Now, there are so many testimonials for my family and I that I would have to write a book to get them all in.
What can I not live without now? Peppermint, Endoflex, PanAway (for
others mostly now unless clutzy me does something that is gravity
challenged) and Be Fit to just name a few.
Important Oils Tip!
When buying essential oils always look for labels that state "genuine &
authentic" or "Grade A." Most people think the words, "Pure" or "100% Pure"
on the label indicate the oils are good. This is just not true. Price is
usually a good indicator of quality. I have seen lavender oil for $5.00 and
rose oil for $10.00. It takes around 5000 pounds of rose petals to make 1
pound of rose oil. If you see rose oil for under $100.00. It is not pure
rose oil.
Much more is involved in therapeutic grade oil than just the purity. If they
are not properly distilled, they won't be therapeutic grade. Unlike most essential oils, Young Living Essential Oils are processed at low temperature and low pressure without the use of solvents or additives in order to retain all the natural, therapeutic properties. If you have never used therapeutic grade essential oils or if you have been using adulterated oils...You do NOT know their power!

When my young son was experiencing alot of upper respitory problems after moving halfway across the country, at the time I was not very familiar with the Vita-Flex Therapy points, so I asked my son where he thought I should put the oil. He pointed to the top of his feet. I later looked it up in my Desk Reference and was excited to see it was exactly the bronchial Vita Flex points. He not only knew were to put the oil, I let him choose which one, the oil he chose was Raven. In my personal experience this blend of amazing oils helps open the sinuses, bronchials and is soothing to allergy, cold-like, or even Flu symptoms.
I had a touch of laryngitis and used Raven on the lymph nodes on both sides of my neck (where women usually dab perfume) and immediately I got my voice back. --1/4 cup liquid Castile soap
--2 vitamin C tablets, crushed (YL Super C)
--lemon, tea tree, or eucalyptus essential oils, (your choice, or combination)

5 drops lemongrass

 Therapeutic grade essential oils contain such vitality! In a healthy plant, the pure essential oil functions much like human or other animal blood and lymph, doing nutrient delivery, immune protection, anti-oxidation, oxygenation, warding off or killing invading organisms, tissue regeneration, hormonal and many other functions. They are usually the most potent part of herbs (mostly lost in drying), and amazingly are designed to be able to serve us similarly to the plants they come from.
Safety:
A few oils need precautions about how to use them. The hot oils like cinnamon, clove, oregano, thyme, and penetrating oils like mints can feel too strong on tender skin; always dilute with several drops of carrier oil first, and avoid moisture or they will sting. Citrus and evergreens can create photo sensitivity on local site of use particularly with repeated application. Bergamot should be avoided on any skin exposed to sun for 2 -3 full days to avoid serious burn. PLEASE do not apply Essential oils which are not organic directly (“neat”) on babies at any time – diffuse only, such as from your hands or a cotton ball if you must - or on adults for the reasons below. It is recommended to always dilute essential oils for babies; we find 2 – 3 drops to ½ teaspoon carrier is enough per drop of good essential oils. When oils and fats grow in nature, nearby toxins and other petrochemicals will naturally concentrate into the oil, more than into the rest of the plant. Many essential oils have trace solvents, used in washing the last batch off the distillation equipment.Soil history, growing, water quality, harvesting, multiple processing methods are factors.
***WITH DEPRESSION OR OTHER EMOTIONAL ISSUES ALWAYS USE VALOR ON FEET FIRST FOR EMOTIONAL RESULTS FROM HIGHER VIBRATION OILS.
If you get a rash, headache or nausea, it almost always means petrochemical toxins are being released from the body (absorbed commonly from not only foods but also most body care and cleaning products). Drink water, breathe fuller (10 deep slow breaths, increases your oxygen levels), exercise, rest, use Vitamin C and support bowels moving 2 – 3 times daily. Use the essential oils less/less frequently until your body adjusts. Look to these things first before thinking you may have an (extremely rare) allergy.
Back to Top! I ran across a "Poor Mans" Helichrysum blend that I got off the posts not long ago. I have actually used it on a new scar Edward has, recently, and it does work. If I had a blend to put together, I would certainly give this a try.

A couple of years ago in January I had some congestion. I never get sick usually. I tried everything I've always done to make it go away, which was usually in a week or so. A simple alkaline diet of fruits and veggies, ginger, honey, lemon, etc. Nothing helped and it kept getting worse.
This continued and went into my lungs, I got laryngitis and coughed for 3 months. I was ready to head to the doctor (I usually never go). First, I asked an acquaintance that did massage and used Young Living oils if there was anything that she could give me before I turned to heavy antibiotics. She gave me the end of her bottles of RC and Raven. I diluted with carrier oil & applied many times a day.
Overnite, the laryngitis was almost gone. In 3 days, I was a new person emotionally, mentally and the congestion was pretty much on its way out. I have since learned the Raindrop Technique and teach classes and use these two faithfully, along with all the other wonderful oils. These two are a must in my first aid kit!
A new friend who is a welder complained that a side effect of the job was having severe asthma for the past 11 years which included constant hacking cough. I gave him a sample of Raven to see if it would give him some relief. At the time he was using and inhaler multiple times per day and nebulizer treatments at least once per day but still suffered symptoms.
From the moment he started inhaling Raven he has not used any medication since. After 5 days of use it was time for his annual physical and his chest x-rays showed 'slight' asthma, not severe.
To start he used Raven about once an hour, his coughing was immediately greatly reduced and his breathing improved. After about a month of use he was down to 3 times a day. Now 5 months later he just keeps it on hand for stress times, otherwise he has no coughing and no breathing trouble.

I will tell what I've been doing with the oils that I love so much.
I have psoriatic arthritis. There are over 100 different kinds of arthritis. My kind attacks every tendon and ligament in my entire body. Yes, it hurts. I also have psoriasis. I wish I had taken pictures of the psoriasis before I started using lavender neet on it everyday for the past two months. The psoriasis is almost gone!!! The lavender is quite pungent; I can't stand the smell. So, I apply the oil in the morning, wait a few minutes, then take my morning shower. The smell goes away by then.
I've used PanAway on a couple of finger joints when they've swelled. Most of the time the pain would be gone in less than 10 minutes. I use Peace and Calming on my 9 year old son every night. My sister uses it on her two daughters. It knocks them all out and they sleep all night long. I use it on myself each night putting it on the bottom of my feet with a cotton ball (I don't like the oils on my hands). I sleep all night long which is not normal for me! I'm normally up 2-4 times a night to go to the bathroom. The Peace and Calming makes me have odd dreams, but they're not scary dreams so I can deal with that and sleep all night. Oh, I have had horrible menstrual cramps for several years. I miss a day or more of work every month because the pain is too much. I also gush way too much each month. I've started taking SclarEssence each day for a couple of weeks now. Seven drops in an empty capsule. Aunt Flo is here and I haven't had one cramp! I've been taking Thyromin for a month. Most days I don't need to take a nap anymore. My husband had a tummy ache recently. I mixed peppermint oil and jojoba oil (so the oil wouldn't feel like it was burning him) and had him rub it on his tummy. Ache was gone in a minute. My 19 year old son had a headache recently. I mixed peppermint and jojoba oil and put some of the mixture on the back of his neck and his temples. No more headache. Clary Sage was my magic oil for when I needed to 'get in the mood'. It stinks but boy does that oil work!! Do NOT operate large machinery when using this oil for the first time. LOL... I'm sure there are more oils I have stories for. I'll write them as I think of them.
