The Boundaries Of Experience
Expanding Your Comfort Zone

None of us are born with a guidebook that provides explicit rules for thought and behavior that will enable us to navigate life successfully. To cope with the myriad of complexities to which all of humanity is subject, we each develop a set of habits and routines that ground us, their continuity assuring us that life is progressing normally. Most of us know, whether instinctively or by experience, that transformations can be uncomfortable, but we always learn and gain so much. Any initial discomfort we experience when expanding our comfort zones diminishes gradually as we both become accustomed to change and begin to understand that temporary discomfort is a small price to pay for the evolution of our soul.

Your current comfort zone did, at one time, serve a purpose in your life. But it is representative of behaviors and patterns of thought that empowered you to cope with challenges of days past. Now, this comfort zone does little to facilitate the growth you wish to achieve in the present. Leaving your comfort zone behind through personal expansion of any kind can prepare you to take the larger leaps of faith that will, in time, help you refine your purpose. Work your way outward at your own pace, and try not to let your discomfort interfere with your resolve. With the passage of each well-earned triumph, you will have grown and your comfort zone will have expanded to accommodate this evolution.

Whether your comfort zone is living with your parents, or perhaps being too shy to socialize, or maybe it’s not realizing your spirit self—whatever it is, start small, and you will discover that venturing beyond the limited comfort zone you now cling to is not as stressful an experience as you imagined it might be. And the joy you feel upon challenging yourself in this way will nearly always outweigh your discomfort. As you continue to expand your comfort zone to include new ideas, activities, goals, and experiences, you will see that you are capable of stimulating change and coping with the fresh challenges that accompany it.

Healthy Attitude

I am happy, whole, peaceful, and secure.
My Spirit-centered attitude shows in the positive way I feel emotionally and physically. Communicating with an attitude enriched by divine love, I speak words of kindness, comfort, and cheer. Positive energy reverberates within me and flows out from me as happiness and peace.  I don’t dwell on why things are not going according to my plan. I look for the common ground that I share with all other children of God. Working together, we dissolve any misunderstanding and bring about the perfect plan.  My prayers are affirmations of health and wholeness of mind and body. I am happy, whole, peaceful, and secure.

“Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body.”—Proverbs 16:24

Original oil on linen painting by Cynthia Rose Young

As you will see her work is astounding and very full of light and love. It comes across on the canvas as well as in the colors she uses. She truly touches the "Soul" with her light. This is a true gift!~~~ Love her work~~~

Check out her work and paintings!

Or you can e-mail her at: Cynthia Rose Young

Cynthia Rose Young  paints light through beautiful depictions of shimmering landscapes, flowing seascapes, mystical dreams and vivid geometric forms. Cynthia's paintings

are the reflections of contemplations of mandalas or a central light.
Her paintings are included in many private collections and are the source of

illustrations in a number of books. Her work has been reviewed in numerous

publications throughout the United States. Cynthia resides in Atlanta, Georgia

Some back ground on her work and why she does it:

Sacred art awakens the soul through color, geometry, symbolism and light. Philosophy, religion, and metaphysics cite light as the central source of creation, as a rapid rate of frequency or vibration that is expressed as color, sound and motion in physical matter. The language of art is an inter-dimensional doorway.

It is important to understand that each of the five senses takes in energy. The eye delights in light, form and color. It is of the utmost importance to view visual artworks that create doorways of consciousness into destinations for the highest good.

Sacred art naturally affects one’s consciousness. Through the use of numbers, colors, shapes and light, manifestations of divine will, emotion and form are expressed. Depending on the number of petals, the types of colors, shapes and forms, the different varieties of attunement and healing occur.

In all places, in all dimensions, with all beings, the depiction for consciousness is light. In visual art, divine consciousness in visual art is expressed as the center from which all else radiates, with the placement of the light in the middle. With a lighter color in the middle, representing divine consciousness, there is a centering and healing effect on all who see it. By understanding this most basic concept of the light of the center, the importance and use of mandalas in visual art is understood.

A mandala can range from subtle to graphic. In a landscape, the light in the center can be the subtle brightening of the sky, or it can actually be the Sun, or Moon, or a being of light. A circle can be subtly suggested by patterns in the clouds and placement of trees, or an actual circle drawn around the sun or geometric shapes on a colored background.

Mandalas are designs based on a circle, with the circle symbolizing creation. The form of the central light in a circular form has been used to represent divinity, bring healing and spiritual development in every culture from ages past. The light in the center of the circle calibrates and attunes the four brainwave levels through visual interaction along the optic nerve.

This is the art of stimulating the optic nerve of the eye, the only exposed nerve in the body, to stimulate the pineal, pituitary and hypothalamus to evoke a state of higher consciousness through the release of neuro-peptides in the bloodstream, so that an observer can simply glance at a painting to receive the benefits of the energy.

A profound energy exchange occurs between the conscious viewer and the painting, spiraling out into the consciousness of the universe, thus bringing about a higher frequency or vibration. Our concept is to increase spiritual consciousness through the introduction of these sacred paintings and prints.

6 Steps to help achieve happiness!

1. Recognition.

This is the first and most basic tool of happiness. Recognition is the purest, strongest form of love. It's the kind of foreign-related calls that love nothing and gives everything.

2. Choice.

Choice is the father of freedom and the voice of the heart. Who have no options, or options, feels like being in jail. This leads to depression, anxiety, and the condition called learned helplessness. Election may even govern perception. Anyone can choose the course of their lives, but only people happy to do so. Happy people turn away from fear, and find that his intellect and spirits contain a vast store of options.

3. Personal power.

This is the almost indefinable dynamic force, similar to the character, which gives you power over your feelings and power over their destiny. Personal power has two components: taking responsibility and action. This means realizing that your life belongs to you and only you, then do something about it. Staff who maintains the power to be a victim. When your personal power is at its peak, you are safe. You need not be popular, there is no need to be right, you do not even need money in the bank. You can handle any dishes to life.

4. Leading.

By giving the automatic reaction of fear, which makes it focus on its weaknesses, which only reinforces the fear. But when you take the path of intellect and spirit, which naturally begin to focus on their strengths and begin to resolve their situation. People often think that fixing their weaknesses will save them, but it rarely works. It is too painful. Lead with your strengths feels good, and that is why it works. Simple, but true. You will never be complete until we learn to lead with your strengths every day a day at a time.

5. The power of language and stories.

Not describe the world we see, we see the world we describe. Language, as the only fundamental force of human intellect, has the power to alter the perception. We think in words, and these words have the power to limit or free us, because they can frighten us or evoke our courage. The choice is ours.

6. A full life.

There are three primary components of life: relationships, health, and purpose. Many people, however, put all its energy in just one area. The most common option is to work, because they work best assuages our survival fears of not having enough, not sufficient. Happiness comes from a full life.

Harmony

As harmonizers, we create and influence greater harmony in our world. As the pieces of wood, metal, shell, or glass of wind chimes move in the breeze and rebound off one another, they produce a blend of resonant tones.  Wherever we are, whatever we do, we, too, blend and interact with those around us in a chorus of harmony that enriches our lives and the lives of others. We do not have to be alike to be in harmony with one another. Through our variety of ideas and from our diverse backgrounds, we contribute to and complement one another.  Giving thanks to God, we come together in joyful interaction. As harmonizers and peacemakers, we create and influence greater harmony throughout our world.

“Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth; break forth in joyous song and sing praises.”—Psalm 98:4

 Little Gurus

Learning To Follow

As grown-ups, we often approach children with ideas about what we can teach them about this life to which they have so recently arrived. It’s true that we have important information to convey, but children are here to teach us just as much as we are here to teach them. They are so new to the world and far less burdened with preconceived notions about the people, situations, and objects they encounter. They do not avoid people on the basis of appearance, nor do they regard shoes as having only one function. They can be fascinated for half an hour with a pot and a lid, and they are utterly unself-conscious in their emotional expressions. They live their lives fully immersed in the present moment, seeing everything with the open-mindedness born of unknowing. This enables them to inhabit a state of spontaneity, curiosity, and pure excitement about the world that we, as adults, have a hard time accessing. Yet almost every spiritual path calls us to rediscover this way of seeing. ! In this sense, children are truly our gurus.

When we approach children with the awareness that they are our teachers, we automatically become more present ourselves. We have to be more present when we follow, looking and listening, responding to their lead. We don’t lapse so easily into the role of the director of activities, surrendering instead to having no agenda at all. As we allow our children to determine the flow of play, they pull us deeper into the mystery of the present moment. In this magical place, we become innocent again, not knowing what will happen next and remembering how to let go and flow.

Since we must also embody the role of loving guide to our children, they teach us how to transition gracefully from following to leading and back again. In doing so, we learn to dance with our children in the present moment, shifting and adjusting as we direct the flow from pretending to be kittens wearing shoes on our heads to making sure everyone is fed and bathed.

 Finding Your Joy
Be Happy Every Single Day

Our lives are rich with potential sources of happiness, but sometimes we become victims of negative thinking because we believe that focusing on all that has gone wrong will provide us with the motivation we need to face the challenges of survival. When we choose to focus on what makes us happy, however, a shift occurs in the fabric of our existence. Finding something to be happy about every single day can help this shift take place. The vantage points from which we view the world are brought into balance, and we can see that being alive truly is a gift to be savored. There is always something we can be happy about—it is simply up to us to identify it.

On one day, we may find happiness in a momentous, life-changing event such as a marriage or the birth of a child. On another day, the happiness we experience may be a product of our appreciation of a particularly well-brewed cup of a tea or the way the sun shines on a leaf. If we discover that we literally cannot call to mind a single joyful element of existence, we should examine the cause of the blockage standing between us and experiencing happiness. Keeping a happiness journal is a wonderful way to catalog the happiness unfolding all around us so that joy has myriad opportunities to manifest itself in our lives. Writing about the emotions we experience while contemplating joy may give us insight into the factors compelling us to resist it.

Happiness may not always come easily into your life. You have likely been conditioned to believe that the proper response to unmet expectations is one of sadness, anger, guilt, or fear. To make joy a fixture in your existence, you must first accept that it is within your power to choose happiness over unhappiness every single day. Then, each time you discover some new source of happiness, the notion that the world is a happy place will find its way more deeply into your heart. On this day, find one thing to be happy about and let it fill your heart.

Divine Order

With a peaceful mind and a faith-filled heart,
I trust God for right results.
With trust in God, I let go of any apprehension
about what might happen today and accept bright,
new possibilities. I relax knowing that divine order is unfolding. Everything necessary for this day to be a success is coming together. Each person involved is inspired to contribute in positive and meaningful ways. Harmony,
peace, and mutual respect are evident in every
interaction. The activities of this day flow smoothly
 and bring about exceptional results.
As the day progresses, I may require an extra measure of reassurance and strength. Restating my daily affirmation helps me realign my perspective with thoughts of divine order. Placing my trust in God for right outcomes, I participate in the activities that are mine to complete today.

“He has made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things and secure.”—2 Samuel 23:5

7 years have pasted and yet it is as though it was just yesterday. This is to pay tribute to those who serve this country and to those who lost their lives on this day... We will never forget!

Almighty God on High, omnipotent King, look down from Your Sanctified Abode, and bless the valiant soldiers of the Coalition Forces who risk their lives to protect the welfare of all Your creation.

Benevolent God, be their shelter and fortress, and to not allow them to falter. May harmony dwell in their ranks, victory in their battalion. Fill their hearts with faith and courage to thwart the evil schemes of our enemies and to abolish every rule of evil.

Protect them on land, in the air and in the sea, and destroy their adversaries. Guide them in peace, lead them toward peace, and return them speedily to their families alive and unharmed.

Grant us true peace in fulfillment of the prophecy: "Nation shall not lift up sword against another nation, nor shall they learn war any more."

Let all the inhabitants of the world know that Dominion is Yours, and Your name inspires awe upon all that You have created. May this be Your will, and let us say, Amen.

For their loved ones and wives:

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures;
he leads me beside still waters; he restores my soul. He leads me in right paths for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil; for you are with me;  your rod and your staff--they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord my whole life long.

~~Psalms 23: 1-6 ~~

Because you are with me now Lord...  Protect my loved one that is serving our country. Bless them while we are apart. Keep them safe from harm and give them strength to see each day through. For I know it is already done according to your word. Amen.

Gracious God, I ask that your hand of protection be on all those who are serving in Iraq and in lands far from home. It is hard to endure the separation from the ones we love and our hearts feel ragged with worry at times because of the danger they might be in. While our hearts are filled with deep love, our love alone cannot bring Our Soldier back to us safely. So, I pray that you will do for them what we are unable to do. I pray also that when they are troubled by fear, confusion, loneliness, and doubt that you will wrap them in your embrace until the time of turbulence has passed. May your love bring them peace and strength and the certainty of knowing they are loved. I ask this in your name. Amen.
